Mongolian soldiers serving in Sudan rescue lives of over 30 citizens

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The military officials from the 8th moto shooting battalion of the Mongolian Armed Forces, who are participating in peacekeeping operations in the Republic of South Sudan, rescued lives of over 30 local people and their properties from fire.


On November 26, when 14 military officials of the Mongolian Armed Forces were patrolling, they realized a huge fire breaking out  near local clan settlement in distance of 8 km from Pariang village and succeeded to prevent their lives and properties , taking immediate measures and rendering emergency assistance.


According to the local people, the fire covered an area of 500 m wide and 10 km long.
