Environment and Tourism Minister receives Green Apple Environment Award

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ ‘Green Passport’ campaign being implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism has been selected as ‘National Environmental Governance-2018’ by the World Green Organization, headquarters in London. Furthermore, Environment and Tourism Minister N.Tserenbat has become the Green World Ambassador.


Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar presented the awards sent from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.


Aimed at having a junior green activist in every household, the Green Passport campaign has involved 778 general education schools since its nationwide start. Highlighting that the campaign targets juniors so that they have a environment friendly lifestyle, Minister D.Tsogtbaatar congratulated the Environment and Tourism Minister.
