Ambassador Ya.Ariunbold pays call on Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia

Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Canada Ya.Ariunbold is working in the City of
Vancouver on January 27-31.
During his visit to the city, Ambassador Ya.Ariunbold paid a courtesy call on Her Honour Janet Austin, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia (B.C.)
and exchanged views on expanding bilateral education and cultural exchange as
well as economic cooperation, attracting investment in mining sector, improving
tourism, studying experience in forestry, and supporting the Association of
Mongolians in Canada. Lastly, Her Honour Janet Austin gladly accepted the Ambassador’s
invitation to make a visit to Mongolia.
Ambassador Ya. Ariunbold met also with Bruce Ralston, B.C.'s
Minister of Jobs, Trade and Technology. They talked about exporting cashmere,
meat and meat products from Mongolia and machineries from Canada and learning from the province’s experience in professional training and policy for dealing with developing economy.
Furthermore, the Ambassador attended a mining forum there, gave presentation on Mongolian economic outlook and investment opportunities.
