Ceremony held to build partnership tie

Within the scope of the 32nd anniversary of diplomatic relations
between Mongolia and the United States of America, a ceremony was held at Borrego
Springs, California on February 11 to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on
establishing partnership relations between Khovd aimag of Mongolia and Borrego
Springs, California, the US.
The MoU was
signed by B.Dugerjav, Governor of Khovd aimag of Mongolia, and Jim Desmond,
chairman of San Diego County Board of Supervisors in the presence of Mongolia’s
Consul-General in San Francisco E.Galbadral, chairman of Khovd aimag’s Citizens’
Representative Meeting M.Ganzorig and supervisors of San Diego and Borrego
Springs Boards and others.
The MoU is
for expansion of cooperation in culture, education, tourism, trade and economic fields between the provinces.
