Education Minister meets with Russian delegation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On March 16, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Yo.Baatarbileg met with members of State Duma of the Russian Federation Aldar Damdinov, Alexander Pyatokop and Alexei Zagrebin.
Expressing
gratitude to the Government of Russia on giving 500 quotas for Mongolian citizens
to study in Russian universities and colleges, Minister Yo.Baatarbileg highlighted
his aspiration to broaden and strengthen educational cooperation between Mongolia
and Russia.
The sides exchanged views on the reform being made in education sector of Russia, curriculum development of universities and colleges as well as Russian system on assessing educational quality.
Moreover, they agreed to collaborate in directions of educating and retraining Russian language teachers who will work in secondary schools of Mongolia and to create conditions to Mongolian students studying to be Russian language teachers to make practice in Moscow City Teachers’ Training University and other universities for one year.
