Mongolia wins second gold at Special Olympics

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian athlete Kh.Baljinnyam won gold in women’s 100m run at the Special Olympics world Games.

Previously, she has won bronze in shot put. Kh.Baljinnyam is from Umnugobi and one of seven national athletes from rural area. It is her first international competition.

Athletes of more than 190 are competing in 24 categories at the Special Olympics this year. Mongolian team of 28 athletes has won a total of 15 medals including two gold, six silver and seven bronze so far.
