Mongolian and Korean citizens' visa-free travel to be studied

Official talks of Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh and Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Lee Nak-yeon have been concluded.
During the talks, the Prime Ministers agreed to intensify implementation of
projects on construction of thermal power plants in 10 provinces with USD 300
million non-refundable aid granted by the Government of the Republic of Korea
and construction of Solongo 1, Solongo 2 apartment complexes with USD 500
million soft loan.
The two countries will celebrate the 30th anniversary of
establishment of the diplomatic relations. Within it, the sides agreed to bring
current relations at strategic partnership level and to study possibilities of
mutual visa-free travel further. Moreover, the sides decided to involve
physicians in retraining in Korea and organize arts, cultural and sports
competitions ahead of the 30th anniversary.
Mutually agreed issues during the official talks will be discussed in detail at
the Fourth Intergovernmental Commission Meeting to be held at the first half of
this year.
