Mongolian judo team to compete in Asian-Pacific ChampionshipSports
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A Mongolian team of 18 judo athletes will be competing in the Asian-Pacific Judo Championships taking place in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates on April 20-23.
The men’s judo team will consist of several medalists, such as L.Unubold, Ts.Tsogtbaatar, L.Otgonbaatar and U.Duurenbayar, while the women’s team will consist of medalists, such as D.Sumiya, B.Gankhaich and Ts.Battsetseg.
271 athletes will be representing 35 countries of Asia, and 21 athletes will be representing 4 countries of the Pacific region (Australia, Fiji, Guam and New Zealand) at the individual and team events of the championships.
