Cabinet meeting in briefSociety
At its regular meeting on April 17, the Cabinet made following decisions.
-The Cabinet backed a draft of Mongolian side to the Mongolia-China intergovernmental plan of actions to be implemented with a purpose to forward constructive works of ‘Development Road’ and ‘Belt and Road’ initiatives. Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar was allowed to finalize the draft plan with Chinese side.
- The Cabinet discussed bills to amend the laws on natural conservation, natural plants, animals, forestry, water and others and decided to submit them to the Parliament.
- This year marks 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the People’s Republic of China. Within the framework of celebrations, 70 measures are to be organized in the fields of politics, economy, culture and arts, literature, sciences, health, youth and children and humanity.
- The University of Law Enforcement has been renamed as the University of Home Affairs with approval of its rules. This decision was made with a purpose to intensively develop the University as a complex, ensure its stability of scientific research, training and production, make it independent from politics and expand its activity.
- The Cabinet obliged B.Enkh-Amgalan, Minister of Road and Transport Development, to formulate a draft of the resolution on establishing Mongolia-China joint company in Dongjiang free zone in Tianjing, China, and introduce at next week’s regular meeting of the Cabinet.
