Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first half of 2019, 38.1 thousand mothers delivered 38.4 thousand babies (live births), increased by 29 mothers (0.1 percent) and 50 live births (0.1 percent) compared to the same period of previous year.
In June 2019, 6336 mothers delivered 6387 babies (live births), decreased by 499 mothers (7.3 percent) and by 512 live births (7.4 percent) compared to the previous month.
In the first half of selected 2019, there were 521 cases of infant mortality, decreased by 9 cases (1.7 percent), and there were 632 cases of under-five mortality, decreased by 18 cases (2.8 percent) compared to the same period of previous year.
