National peacekeepers reconstruct sports complex in Bentiu

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian peacekeepers of 8th moto shooting battalion serving in UNMISS peacekeeping operation reconstructed a sports complex in Bentiu, the Republic of South Sudan between July 15 and 22.

Our peacekeepers reconstructed and painted the shed roof of the football field, volleyball field, basketball backboard in accordance with international  standards. Moreover, they placed 30 benches and swings for the children around the fields.

A friendly match was organized in connection with the reconstruction of the sports complex. All participants were awarded with medals, sports kit and school supplies were presented to the children.
