Mongolian horseback archers win medals

horseback archers won gold, silver and bronze medals and Grand Prix from the 15th
World Horseback Archery Championships & 2019 World Martial Arts
Masterships, held in South Korea from August 27 to September 1, 2019
Specifically,
E.Erdene won two gold medals, N.Davaadorj -- a gold, G.Iderbaatar, Purevmandakh
and Purevee – two silver and two bronze medals respectively. E.Erdene from ‘Khan
Mongol’ Horse Riders Association was awarded with the Grand Prix of the
championship.
Mongolia
was represented by the five horseback archers at the championships at which more
than 100 archers from 30 countries competed.
E.Erdene
said, “Together with athletes of Malaysia, China, Canada and the UK, we are
going back to Mongolia for an international horseback archery tournament 'Khiimori' /Spirit/ to be organized at Chinggisiin Khuree Tour Camp, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on
September 7-8. Athletes who competed in the championships will compete in the tournament.”
