PM visits Astana Opera Theatre and National Museum

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Before
wrapping up his official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Prime Minister
U.Khurelsukh got acquainted with ‘Astana Opera’ Theatre and the National Museum
of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan, where he met with representatives
of professional organizations that constructed the theatre and museum and
invited them to visit Mongolia for sharing experience.
Astana Opera, built in 2013
at an initiative of former President Nursultan Nazarbayev, is considered the
largest theatre in the Central Asia. This 64 thousand-sq.m theatre is designed in
Kazakh style in combination with world classic architectural designs and
equipped in accordance with international standards.
The
National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, established in 2014, is the
youngest and largest museum in Central Asia. The nine-story museum
complex equipped with state-of-the-art technology has an area of 74,000 sq.m.
and displays more than 175 thousand exhibits in its 14 halls.
