Engineers of mining industry gather to share experiences

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. ‘Assembly of Young Engineers’ is scheduled on November 5 at the State House. Ahead of the event, on October 31, more than 180 young engineers of the mining industry gathered for a meeting in Ulaanbaatar under the theme ‘Youth participation in Mining’.
Participants of the meeting, organized by Erdenes Mongol LLC state owned enterprise, discussed the ways to increase role of Mongolian engineers, especially the young mining engineers, and their contribution to the development of Mongolia and exchanged experiences about new innovative technologies and initiatives for the project they are working on.
Young engineers of Mongolian leading mining companies, Oyu Tolgoi, Baganuur LLC, MAK LLC, Erdenes Mongol, Shivee Ovoo and others took part to share best practices and work strategies.
There are some eight thousand engineering and technical employees in the mining industry of Mongolia.
