Mongolian Day event held in Istanbul

Istanbul /MONTSAME/ ‘Mongolian brotherhood’ NGO and Turkish ‘Mantra travel’ agency jointly organized a Mongolian day event last weekend under the auspices of Consulate General of Mongolia in Istanbul, Turkey. The event was held for the second time with aims of promoting Mongolian history, custom and heritage.
An exhibition that features photos taken by Turkish citizens who traveled through Mongolia has been presented at the event besides displaying quilting articles of Mongolian Quilting Center. Guests of the event were treated by Mongolian cuisine-buuz, khuushuur, milk tea and curds while watching folk art concert.
‘Mantra’ travel agency introduced its activity, further tours to Mongolia and mutually shared experience on making contribution in the industry.
Over 100 Turkish citizens and representatives of tour companies and media organizations partook in the event.
