Ambassador G.Ganbold meets honorary consuls

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The Embassy of Mongolia to New Delhi, India held its fourth meeting with Honorary Consuls of Mongolia in India’s Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai cities and Nepal and Bangladesh on December 4-6 in Goa, India.
At the meeting, the Ambassador
G.Ganbold provided information about recently approved Constitutional
amendments, socio-economic situation and the embassy’s activities in 2019 and
answered to questions interested.
He also introduced the
results of audits carried out to the activities of honorary consuls and gave
some guidance on protecting interest of Mongolian nationals and Mongolian
entities in their designated areas, encouraging individuals who are interested
in Mongolia and support trade, economic and tourism activities, and promoting
the country by means of co-organizing cultural and sports events.
Honorary consuls of Mongolia
in India’s Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai cities and Nepal and
Bangladesh are experienced and respected people who work in the sectors of real
estate, manufacturing, business, law and humanity and have been working as Mongolia’s
representative for 8-12 years.
