School No. 15 to be renovated under Japan's GGP scheme

/MONTSAME/ On December 13, Shinichiro Hayashi, chargé d'affaires ad interim at
the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia, and J.Aldarjavkhlan, Governor of Khan-Uul
district signed an agreement to refurbish the building of school No. 15 in the
district under Japan's Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects
(GGP) Program.
Grant agreements in education and health care were also
signed for Sukhbaatar and Dornogobi aimags at the event.
Governor J.Aldarjavkhlan noted that a new building of the district’s
school No. 75 will come into operation in July, 2020 under the project of the
Japan International Cooperation Agency and extended gratitude.
Embarked on by the Government of Japan in 1989, GGP assists
NGOs and local public authorities to implement small-scale projects directly
benefiting the people at grassroots level as well as contributing to the
socio-economic development.
