699 physicians and nurses prepared as clinical trainers

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A regular training on preparing clinical trainers kicked off today by the request of Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital.


The training has being conducted since 2016 within the project for Strengthening Post-Graduate Training for Health Professionals in Primary and Secondary Level Health Facilities, being realized by the Ministry of Health, Center for Health Development in partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency.


A total of 24 health professionals led by Director General of the Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital Kh.Altansaikhan, are being involved in the training that will run until January 17. In addition, 699 doctors and nurses have been prepared as clinical trainers so far.  


The project intends to strengthen the post-graduate training for health professionals through improving post-graduate training system and program for health professionals, developing the capacity of trainers and the training package as well as strengthening the training ability at regional and provincial core medical facilities.
