WHO hands over personal protective equipment to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Today, February 12, as part of ongoing support to preparedness efforts in the outbreak of novel coronavirus, personal protective equipment (PPE) were handed over to the Ministry of Health to ensure the health and safety of health care workers.


Dr Sergey Diorditsa, WHO Representative to Mongolia, commended the leadership of the Ministry of Health in taking prompt action to ensure that hospitals are well equipped and prepared and prioritizing safety and security of health care workers.
