Deputy Minister J.Saule visits the USA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry J.Saule is paying an official visit to Washington, D.C., the United States.
Within
the visit, Deputy Minister J.Saule held meetings with Chair of Trade Policy
Staff Committee of Office of the U.S. Trade Representative Mr. Edward Gresser
and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Mongolia Mr. Alan Turley.
The two sides discussed increasing trade turnover between the two countries, backing up trade of cashmere and textile products and beauty products and cooperating in the fields of crop farming and intensive animal husbandry.
The U.S. party talked over cooperation opportunities in using preferential duty-free treatment for over 3,500 products of Mongolia, introducing advanced technologies in Mongolia, mutually exchanging business owners of the two countries and introducing business environment to them.
As a
part of her visit, Deputy Minister J.Saule also visited Bay Atlantic University,
where the sides agreed to partner in upskilling human resources in agriculture sector.
