National football team to train in Qatar for World Cup

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Qatar Football Association (QFA) is organizing series of events in preparation for the 2022 World Cup as a host country and President of Mongolian Football Federation (MFF) A.Ganbaatar was invited to African Super Cup, held as a part of the preparation events, as a Vice-President of Asian Football Confederation (AFC).


The President of MFF met with the administration of QFA and reviewed the outcomes of Memorandum of Cooperation which was established between the two federations in 2018. As part of the MoC, G.Tuguldur, a player of Mongolian national football team, was fully recovered from his knee injury in 2018 with the financial assistance from QFA. 


Within the framework of cooperation, Mongolian national football team is set to train in Qatar for 14 days before facing strong opponents of Tajikistan and Japan in the preliminary tournament of 2022 World Cup.


Moreover, the marketing team of MFF will learn experience of QFA while representatives of Mongolian sports journalists will get acquainted with the preparation works of 2022 World Cup.
