262 Mongolians to arrive from Australia and the Philippines

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A charter flight of MIAT, bringing 262 Mongolian nationals from Australia and the Philippines, will land at Chinggis Khaan International Airport at 8pm today.


Among the passengers, there are 15 pregnant women, 47 elders and their caregivers, 2 people with disabilities, 79 families with young children, 26 people with medical reasons, 65 people with reasonable excuses such as finances and visas and 29 people from Cebu, the Philippines.


According to the decision made by the Government of Mongolia and the State Emergency Commission, charter flights will be conducted this month to bring about 2000 Mongolians to their home country as scheduled below:


June 6, 2020 – Nur-sultan, Kazakhstan

June 11, 2020 – Tokyo, Japan

June 15, 2020 – India

June 17, 2020 – South Korea /transit/

June 18, 2020 – Seoul, South Korea

June 19, 2020 – Frankfurt, Germany
