Printing of ballot papers for Parliamentary Election commences

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The parliamentary election for 2020 is scheduled on June 24 and the election campaign period started on June 2 with a total of 606 candidates are promoting themselves to their voters in 29 constituencies.
The General Election Commission began printing the election ballot papers on June 7 based on the number of eligible voters verified by the State Registration Authority with reserve papers equal to 5 percent of the total voters. A total of 2,132,239 voters registered in the voters’ list for the upcoming election.
The Mongolian National Security Printing Company and Tavan Bogd Management are printing the ballot papers.
