Health Promotion Center opens at the State Central First Hospital

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Aimed at preventing citizens from
any diseases, detecting at its early stage and giving health education, “Health
Promotion Center”, diagnostic and treatment center has opened today, June 22 at
the State Central First Hospital (SCFH). The center will provide around 20
types of diagnosis and treatment targeted to ambulatory special service.
During the opening of the center, Minister of Health
D.Sarangerel said that the National Council on Health Insurance has made a
decision to run precautionary measures with funding of the Health Insurance
Fund to prevent the citizens from illness. The State Central First Hospital has
played pivotal role to make it actual work, creating all conditions. As the
center was fully furnished with new, up-to-date equipment with high
performance, it enables citizens to make diagnosis at their home country.
Director General of the SCFH T.Munkhsaikhan stated that prevention from any diseases and health education from early ages are global trend. We are coming closer to our goal to prevent and detect any illness at early stage. Citizens who want to receive ambulatory special service are able to be served by the center. More than 10 physicians will provide aid and services that are available to be diagnosed and treated only at our hospital, in favorable environment that satisfies international standard. Citizens who have illness come to ambulatory examination while the Health Promotion Center will render preventive services.
