Congratulatory letters exchanged on diplomatic anniversary

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Today marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Italian Republic. On the occasion of the anniversary, President Kh.Battulga and Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar exchanged letters of congratulations with their Italian counterparts, Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Italy Ts.Jambaldorj handed over the congratulatory letters to Gabriella Biondi, Deputy Director General for the Countries of Asia and Oceania, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy.
In their letters, the President and Foreign Minister of Mongolia expressed their pleasure that bilateral relations and cooperation have been deepening in numerous fields and showed their willingness to expand relations in every area of common interest.
Trade between the two countries has increased by 30 percent
every year since 2016.
