Period of heightened state of readiness extended until July 15

At its regular meeting held on June 30, the State Emergency Commission (SEC) has resolved to extend period of the heightened state of readiness for disaster protection until July 15. Governors of aimags and the capital city have been tasked to re-open some domestic entities and service places at stages.


Specifically, it was assigned to re-open entities and service places that have strictly adhered quarantine regime and where citizens can spend their leisure time fruitfully, from July 1 on the basis of conclusion made by professional organizations. It includes children playground centers except of PC game centers, summer camps, religious and cultural centers, cinema theatres, snooker centers, and karaokes. However, public protests and mass gathered sports contests will remain prohibited. By reviving the operations, it is expected to keep around 10 thousand jobs. 


The SEC also allowed to organize General Entrance Exam countrywide on July 2-5. 30.902 test takers have been got registered across the country and 27.999 of them are graduates of 2020 while 2903 are graduates of the previous years.
