Toyota to gift vehicle to Capital City Health Department instead of winning wrestler of Naadam

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Toyota Motor Corporation has been a partner of the traditional Naadam Festival of Mongolia for the past seven years, presenting a silver trophy and car to the wrestling tournament winners from 2019 and providing safety gears for child horse racers.


CEO of Toyota Mongolia Sales LLC Toshiro Kurahashi on July 8 announced that the company will provide Toyota HiAce, a light commercial van produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturer, to the Health Department of the capital city, working on the front line amid the coronavirus pandemic, instead of the wrestler who wins this year’s Naadam wrestling tournament. But the wrestling tournament winner will still receive the Toyota Symbol of Respect prize.


The company will also gift tables with education apps installed on them to the riders of the five winning horses in every age category as well as the one who comes last in the race.
