Chairman of Civil Service Council receives UN Resident Coordinator

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On July 7, Chairman of the Civil Service Council of Mongolia (CSC) B.Baatarzorig held a meeting with UN Resident Coordinator in Mongolia Tapan Mishra to discuss the operations of the project, ‘Towards a Professional and Citizen-centred Civil Service in Mongolia’ and the correlation between the civil service reform and sustainable development goals.

 

“Despite the uncertainty and ever-changing state of this era, we are working with aims to enhance civil service by offering stable, beneficial services to citizens. I believe that our goal aligns with the sustainable development agenda,” said CSC Chairman B.Baatarzorig and highlighted the importance of enhancing the stability of civil services.

 

UN Resident Coordinator in Mongolia Tapan Mishra said, “The UN Resident Coordinator Office will support the civil service reform and further develop cooperation alongside the UNDP project being implemented on civil service reform in Mongolia. Countries of the world are giving high significance to the Sustainable Development Vision for 2030. Civil service is the main pushing force to not leave any Mongolian citizen behind.”
