80-year old woman makes recovery from COVID-19

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An 80-year-old woman infected with coronavirus has been recovered after 24 days of treatment and transferred to the next stage of isolation, Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) D.Nyamkhuu informed during today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health.

 

According to him, a total of 143 tests were conducted in three laboratories within the past 24 hours countrywide and none of them came out positive. 203 people out of 230 confirmed cases in the country so far have made recovery and transferred to the next observation. And 56 people are under treatment and health observation at the NCCD. Furthermore, tests will be carried out today on 62 peacekeepers who arrived yesterday night from Afghanistan. Two of the peacekeepers are being quarantined at the NCCD, one at the Central Military Hospital and other 59 are at “Baga Bayan” sanatorium.
