Minister of Foreign Affairs receives Ambassador of China

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs N.Enkhtaivan on July 23 met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui.


At the meeting, Minister N.Enkhtaivan stressed that he and State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi exchanged views on further deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and reached numerous important agreements during their recent telephone conversation. Expressing his willingness to continue with the close bilateral cooperation in pandemic response, the Foreign Minister put forth a request to send COVID-19 vaccine to Mongolia as soon as it becomes available in China.  


Noting the importance of high-level visits and meetings in steady growth of bilateral relations, the sides agreed to work on exchanging such visits when the circumstances allow and hold the meetings of cooperation mechanisms such as the intergovernmental commission in appropriate formats.


They emphasized that it is also important to revive trade and economic cooperation and undertook to jointly take step-by-step actions to boost bilateral commercial relations as well as the implementation of major projects.
