Unified system for social welfare services to launch August 26

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The government’s action plan for 2020-2024 sets out to make labor and social welfare services fully online and improve public services more accessible, transparent and faster.
Within this goal, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has undertaken to develop an unified system of social welfare services with a view to transfer social welfare services into digital forms, deliver quick services on pension, welfare and assistances, and provide transparency in public services, focusing on effective service delivery with less burden on the citizens.
The system development and introduction are underway in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, Agency for Labor Welfare Service and Information Technology Center for Customs, Taxation and Finance. The unified system is scheduled to be launched on August 26.
On August 19, Minister of Labor and Social Protection A.Ariunzaya met with a working team responsible for the task to digitalize the social welfare services and became acquainted with the ongoing works and plan for future development.
Social welfare allowances, such as pension benefits, maternity, child home care and twin support allowances and single parent allowances will be paid through the new system at www.ehalamj.mn during its early stage of introduction. The system is also available through ebarimt mobile application for VAT refund and TUTS public service kiosks.
