UNFPA sends 50 dignity kits to women of Uvs aimag

Uvs /MONTSAME/. On September 1, Head of Office of UNFPA Mongolia Kaori Ishikawa held an online meeting with Governor of Uvs aimag D.Batsaikhan. During the meeting, it was informed that the UNFPA has sent 50 dignity kits for women.
More specifically, the kits were specially prepared for girls and women staying in isolation as well as the doctors and medical specialists working at the facilities in Uvs aimag due to the current situation of the pandemic. Furthermore, Ms. Kaori Ishikawa expressed that the UNFPA will further cooperate with the aimag in provision of ventilators and personal protective equipment for the medical personnel. In turn, Governor D.Batsaikhan expressed gratitude to the UNFPA on behalf of the aimag’s citizens, doctors and medical specialists, and women.
