International film festival to open with screening of the Steed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ouray international film
festival of the United States is to open with the screening of Mongolia film
The Steed, which is based on the Brown Horse poem by state poet laureate Ch
Lkhamsuren.
The film directed by G.Erdenebileg premiered in
January 2019 and competed for an Oscar nomination in the Best International
Feature Film category in the same year.
According to the film director, this makes the film’s eighth
participation in an international event. Also, the two-hour feature about a
Mongolian boy and his horse won the Spirit of Cinema Award at the Oldenburg
Film Festival in Germany in September 2019.
