Forum takes place on mutual learning methodology for capital city officials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On September 22, a forum on mutual learning methodology for the capital city khoroos was organized in the framework of the ‘Urban Governance’ project jointly being implemented by the Governor’s Office of the Capital City and the Asia Foundation with financing from the capital city and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The forum targeted to discover the good practices, methods, and methodology being used at each khoroo, to share practices and experiences, and to provide support in creating the conditions for their joint development. Corresponding officials of the capital city, SDC, representatives of the nine districts and 171 khoroos, and the project team members attended the forum.
Using the mutual learning methodology, discussions were organized on determining, introducing and promoting good practices at khoroo and district levels. From a total of 144 practices submitted, five khoroos with the best practices were awarded during the forum. The best practices include the provision of state services online, usage of QR codes as well as art in apartment corridor. The forum is planned to be organized annually in the future.
