Best doctors to work in Orkhon aimag

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. MPs D. Batlut and J. Chinburen signed
a Memorandum of Understanding to implement a program ‘Healthy Erdenet people’
in collaboration with the Health Department and Governor Office of Orkhon aimag. MoU creates condition that the country’s best doctors have
a mission in Orkhon aimag for 3-6 months.
The program, which will be implemented
until December 2024, is believed to allow local health professionals to learn
from the best doctors alongside increased access to health care services in the
aimag. The survey shows that about 10,000 citizens of Orkhon aimag, on average,
come to Ulaanbaatar every year to receive medical services.
The Orkhon aimag’s administration has implemented policies towards human development and invested MNT4 billion in the health sector over the past four years. As a result, the aimag tops in the country with the highest number of people treated for hepatitis B and hepatitis C, reported the local health officials.
