MoU signed to cooperate with Croatia in tourism

Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Croatia G.Battungalag and State
Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of Croatia Tomislav Družak
signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism Cooperation between Ministry of Environment and
Tourism of Mongolia and Ministry of Tourism and Sport of Croatia in Zagreb,
Croatia, on October 15.
Under the memorandum, the countries will set up a joint
working group, introduce and share best practices, and provide mutual support in order to develop mutually-beneficial, long-term, sustainable cooperation in tourism.

Družak both stressed the importance of effectively achieving the goals.
Tourist arrivals in Croatia that has a population of 4.1
million have been increasing steadily over the recent years. Last year, the
country whose tourism revenue makes up around 20 percent of its gross domestic product
received 20 million tourists.
