Zoonotic Diseases Center disinfects luggage of 2,500 charter passengers this month

At today’s press briefing on the coronavirus situation in Mongolia, Director of the National Center for Zoonotic Diseases (NCZD) N.Tsogbadrakh gave an information on disinfection and sterilization measures with a view to prevent spread of illnesses, including COVID-19.
In October 2020, the NCZD disinfected personal items and luggage of over 2,500 passengers arrived on 11 charter flights from abroad, including of peacekeepers from Afghanistan. In particular, disinfection was made on 3,500 units of cargo items weighing more than 40,000 tons, 50 tons of goods, 80 tons of military cargo and 140 transportation vehicles that carried charter flight passengers.
