Master TVET teacher training

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/.  To activate and engage students for best learning outcome - self-organized, problem and action-oriented lessons are essential. To provide such kind of lessons, teachers need to improve their didactical skills. Thus, within ‘Cooperative Technical and Vocational Education and Training’ /cTVET/ project, module 1 of ‘Master teacher training’ was organized by (online-connected) international consultant in cooperation with technical advisors in Mongolian Korean Polytechnic College. 

 

TVET teachers and methodologists from cTVET project partner schools, staff responsible for curricula and teacher development from regional assessment, information and methodological center, total of 40 people participated in the training. Training was filled with active participation, discussion and group work. Everyone was eager to learn new approaches to conduct lessons in more activating way. Training was wrapped up with practical exercise of putting lesson into practice which they designed using newly learned skills. 


 

Teachers who participated in this training will further on disseminate the training to other teachers of their school with the support of methodologists within upcoming two months.

 

Commissioned by the BMZ, the cTVET project is funded by the Governments of Germany, Australia, Korea and being implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in close partnership with Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
