Mongolian representatives participating in UNGA Fourth Committee session

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian delegation led by
Permanent Representative to the United Nations V.Enkhbold is attending the 75th
session of the Fourth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly.
Permanent Representative V.Enkhbold addressed the October
20 plenary meeting of the committee, reporting on Mongolia’s participation in
United Nations peacekeeping operations and the government’s stance on it.
The Permanent Representative emphasized that the government
of Mongolia supports the UN Secretary General’s peacekeeping initiatives,
especially the Action for Peacekeeping – A4P, and has joined the Declaration of
Shared commitments to UN Peacekeeping Operations and that the country highly
appreciates UN’s initiatives for improved performance and responsibility.
