Environment Minister holds online meeting with GGGI President
EnvironmentUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On October 20, Minister of
Environment and Tourism D. Sarangerel held an online meeting with the President
of the Assembly and Chair of the Council of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI)
Mr. Ban Ki-Moon.
The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) was formed to support developing countries and emerging economies to achieve sustainable inclusive economic growth. It has 38 member states. Mongolia joined the GGGI in 2014 and is now collaborating in the climate change mitigation and green development.
During the online meeting, the sides discussed the results
and progress of ongoing projects and programs and exchanged views on intensifying the cooperation.
