President Kh.Battulga awards top young scholars, engineers and workers

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In aims of calling for the youth to be more involved in labor, creative industry, and scientific development, and supporting the policy on professional education and the preparation of personnel, the President of Mongolia annually presents awards to outstanding young scholars, engineers and workers leading in their respective sectors. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to not organize the award ceremony this year.
The ‘Top Young Scholar’ awards were presented to:
Researcher at the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS), Dr. Nasantogtokh Otgon for her research work on a new drainage technology,
Associate Professor in charge of Curriculum at the School of Mechanical Engineering and Transportation of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, Dr. Telmenbayar Lkhagvaa for her research work on 6061 aluminium alloy,
Research consultant at the Institute of Pharmacology at ‘Monos’ LLC, Dr. Khandmaa Dashnyam for her research work on using microcarriers in tissue regeneration.
The ‘Top Young Engineer’ award was presented to:
Chief Engineer at ‘GBET’ LLC Todgerel Erkhembayar for introducing a new construction method for iron concrete bridges and its beams, and carrying out construction work using field methods suitable for the Gobi region for the very first time in the country.
The ‘Top Worker’ award was presented to:
Carpenter at the Construction Unit No.7780 of the Mongolian Armed Forces Munkhjargal Bavuu for his excellent skills and productivity and being a model personnel making a contribution to the construction of the railway en route Tavantolgoi – Zuunbayan.
Top students enrolled in domestic universities, colleges, and Technical and Vocational Education Training institutions have also been selected, with scholarships being awarded to 30 students.
