13 new cases of COVID-19 detected

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. According to the National Center for Communicable Diseases, a total of 12,039 people were involved in the PCR testing since yesterday, resulting in a detection of 13 positive cases of COVID-19 in Ulaanbaatar city today, January 26.
Two of the staff of the National Center for Communicable Diseases, seven residents of residential apartment block in 16th khoroo in Sukhbaatar district, and four people who were in isolation, close contacts of previously detected cases tested positive for COVID-19.
Mongolia now has 1656 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 1211 recoveries.
In the past 24 hours, 42 patients made recovery and discharged from the hospital.
