Economic cooperation discussed with UK Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Mongolia Philip Malone on March 5. At the beginning of the meeting, Minister B.Battsesteg presented Mongolian government’s key objectives, policies, and planned measures.
They had discussions about expanding Mongolia-UK trade and economic cooperation in respect of Mongolia’s accession to the Enhanced Framework of the UK’s Generalised Scheme of Preferences, strengthening cooperation in education, maintaining bilateral talks between the two countries, as well as multilateral cooperation issues of shared interest.
During the meeting, Ambassador Philip Malone handed over a letter from UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Dominic Raab.
