President Kh.Battulga puts proposal to produce Sputnik V in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On March 19, President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga held
a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian
Federation to Mongolia Azizov Iskander Kubarovich.
At the meeting, the President of Mongolia said the 100th anniversary
of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Russia, which
falls this year, should be celebrated in a businesslike manner.
Moreover, underlining that it is feasible for Mongolia to produce vaccines, President Kh.Battulga made a request to the Ambassador to put forward to Kremlin the proposal to look into the possibility of producing Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine in Mongolia.
Ambassador I.K.Azizov undertook to promptly submit the
President’s proposal and give a reply.
