Ulaanbaatar /MONSTAME/ Ulaanbaatar Health Department is making preparations to improve the accessibility of health care for citizens in home quarantine. Specifically, the authority is focusing on preventing possible risks by monitoring the health state of close contacts, particularly children, elders, those with underlying conditions, pregnant women, and infants.

As part of the effort, eight doctors from district health departments will provide advice to primary care providers round the clock. The primary care providers will virtually monitor the health of the citizens in home quarantine, keep medical records, and prescribe medicine or provide day treatment services if necessary and psychologists will have video meetings daily with the quarantined people to provide counseling and information.
