Livestock birthing at 46 percent

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. As of April 16, 11.1 million dams (46.1 percent of total 24 million) have delivered offspring, reports the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry.
The offspring delivery rate is at 61.8 percent in the western region, 44.9 percent in the Khangai region, 43.6 percent in the central and 34.3 percent in the eastern region.
From the total offspring, 10.9 million or 97.7 percent have survived, which is at the same level compared to the same period of the previous year.
