Mongolia, Kazakhstan to expand cooperation in science and techonology
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. President of the Mongolian Academy of
Sciences D.Regdel has held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Zhalgas Zh. Adilbayev.
Exchanging views on the issues of intensifying cooperation in
the field of science and technology, the sides agreed that the Academy of
Sciences of the two countries have ample opportunities for cooperation in physics,
mathematics, chemistry and technology. Therefore, they tentatively agreed to
establish a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two countries’ Academy of
Sciences within 2021.
The sides also concurred that there is a wide range of research
opportunities, such as genetic research of the Kazakh, Mongol, Oirat and Uriankhai
people.
The Ambassador handed over the invitation sent by the President of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan to President D.Regdel to visit the country on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the academy.
