Boxing athlete E.Tsendbaatar qualifies for quarterfinals with 5:0

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On July 28, State Honored Athlete E.Tsendbaatar stepped into the ring against Vietnamese boxing athlete Nguyen Van Duong for his second match in the men’s 57 kg weight class at the Tokyo Olympics, and came out victorious with a score of 5:0.


The 2021 Asian boxing champion visibly dominated the match during each of the three rounds. 


He will be facing off against Albert Batyrgaziev of the Russian Olympic Committee in the quarterfinals on August 1.
