Agriculture Ministry Delegation visits Italy

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Delegation led by Secretary of State of
the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry T.Jambaltseren paid a
working visit to Italy between October 6 and 9 at the invitation of IMAGRO and
Italprogetti companies of Italy.
Within the working visit, the delegation met with the authorities of IMAGRO and Italprogetti companies, and visited Santa Croce, the central
region of the Italian leather industry. In addition, the delegation attended
the opening ceremony of Mongolian honorary consul.
Moreover, agreement on Developing Feasibility Study for
the Darkhan leather and hide complex was signed by CEO of ‘Darkhan leather and hide
complex development’ state-run limited liability company N.Tserenbat and CEO of
IMAGRO Massimo Pollio. The sides also exchanged views on introducing
cutting-edge equipment that meet international and EU standards to the complex.
