President meets Deputy Chairman of Security Council of Russian Federation

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Within the
framework of his official visit to the Russian Federation, President of Mongolia
U.Khurelsukh held a meeting with Deputy Chairman
of the Security Council of the Russian Federation D.A.Medvedev on
December 17.
President
of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh expressed his confidence that the joint
declaration issued by the Heads of the two States during their talks, agreeing on the goals and priorities of bilateral relations in its new century, will give a significant impetus to the further development of
relations. He also expressed pleasure for that the agreements that reached during his visit to Russia in 2019 as a Prime Minister of Mongolia are being realized and his hope that the
corresponding organizations of the two countries will actively cooperate to implement the agreements reached during
this visit.
Attaching
great importance to deepening the cooperation in the security and defense sectors,
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the
Russian Federation D.A.Medvedev pledged to continue cooperation in
preventing and combating traditional and new threats.
Noting
that deepening cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, infrastructure, railways
and natural gas in the next century of the relations meets the interests of both countries,
the sides exchanged views on the possibility of developing cooperation between Mongolia and the Eurasian Economic Union.
